Camshaft manufacturing plant based out of Indore, and is a part of one of the renowned International Groups

CHALLENGE

The company were facing two challenges:
1. The plant was finding it difficult to get the Cam profiles within 2 Micron Tolerance range. This affected all cam profiles which in turn caused rejection of the exports.

2. An export order worth Rs. 50 Lakhs (Rs. 5 Million) was held up due to unavailability of precision ballscrews.

SOLUTION

1. After the initial survey, CNC Ballscrews recommended the use of 2 nos. of High Precision CNC Ballscrews that enabled the 2 Micron Tolerance range on the Cam Profile of the Cam Shaft. Once the performance was tested and approved, we provided further CNC ballscrews for all their Cam Shafts.

2. CNC Ballscrews also delivered High Precision Ball Screws to DIN 69051 standard within just 24 hours and got the Export machine cleared.

This project helped us to strengthen our company brand as the FIRST COMPANY to deliver High-Precision Ballscrew, for the very first time in 1987, to DIN 69051 International standards within just 24 Hours.
